About Us
The California Samaritan Foundation is a non-profit IRS Section 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) charity dedicated to providing resources to children who are orphaned or abandoned
The California Samaritan Foundation was founded by the Karnezis family in 1997. Theodore Karnezis, a resident of Southern California emigrated from Greece at the age of fourteen. Having lost his mother at the age of five, he personally experienced the pain, the loss, and the distress that these children endure.He therefore, with the help of his family, set to make a positive impact for as many young children as possible and formed The California Samaritan Foundation as a means to provide support to accredited orphanages and institutions that care for these children.The California Samaritan Foundation operates solely by way of volunteers and one hundred percent of the profits are given directly to the institutions we support. The directors and the officers of the foundation are not permitted to be compensated by the Bylaws of the Foundation.
